Jonas Salk:
Exploration of Different Science Fields
As a child, Jonas always loved science. His first word, when he was a baby, was supposedly dirt. While attending the medical school of the University of New York, he spent a whole year researching the influenza (flu) virus. Fortunately, they found how to stop/slow down the flu virus and Jonas was eager to learn about another virus that was infecting thousands of people. That is when he found himself researching the poliovirus and finding a way to stop it.
